The Gender Summits are not just conferences bringing together researchers, policy makers and other interested parties. They also represent a rich set of resources available to be used all year long. The website includes slides from talks, links to various useful materials, and videos, not only of talks but of interviews and other kinds of discussions. Here’s a 90 second interview I did at the Gender Summit in Brussels in 2014, in which I’m asked about the importance of gendered perspectives in research, about measures that can be taken to get more women into research and about the purpose of the Gender Summits.
